Oh good gods... I did it. I finished it. And before Season 3 airs, too!!! I'm proud of myself. *smug*
So, the main idea being making a picture of the Gaang (left to right: Aang, Toph, Sokka, Zuko and Katara) forming the letters for "Gaang". And I made it nice and subtle, let's see if you can see them yourself, if not, here's a "translation": [link]
I love doing fanart....
And do not tell me the background's crappy, the hands are too small, the poses are awkward, the background's crappy, Zuko's not in the Gaang, the trees are stupid, the proportions on Aang suck and the background's crappy, beacause I already know it, okay?
I worked really long and really hard on this and GAWD am I proud of it. I especially love how Katara and Sokka came out. And yes, I used Zuko's refugee look, since I never really liked his "sheepdog hair". I STILL BELIEVE HE'S GOOD!!!
And before anyone asks, NO I'm not hinting at any "ship" in here. I arranged them according to the letters they could form, and I wanted Aang at the very left.

3 hours till Season 3 airs, and I'll give you lucky people from America 2 hours plus so you can upload it on the net for us unlucky ones from the rest of the world to see. Which means I'll be up at 5am our time to watch it.
Ooooooh whatever will happen, this season is gonna ROCK SO MUCH!!!

EDIT: This pic is getting slightly too popular. (and YES 15 faves is a lot for me). And even if I don't think I'm popular enough to be stolen from, I'm gonna be careful and smack a big copyright over the pic.

just be happy I'm a person who takes flames lightly (and yes your comment could very well count as a flame).
try to be less offensive and actually give plausible reasons for your dislike of a picture the next time you feel the urge to bash something the maker might be proud of.

Wow. I LOVE this! The grass in the background just looks so fluffy and greeen. It's been a while since I saw grass that was actally GREEN. (Not been rainin' much down in Southern USA, so the grass is all yellow-ish) And the trees make me think of the pinetrees (which are also kind of yellow) in GA. Also, I REALLY like the way Katara looks.
All in All you did an excellent job!

Not really... Try looking up 'The Gaang' or something. There's some really good storys about the newer episodes. Especially if you'r Zutara shipper.

oh it depends... I like their firenation looks, but I bet I'll get tired of them soon. right now, they're a nice change.

still, there are too many spoilers flying aroundas it is. I'm being very careful when searching for avatar art, and I've already stumbled across 2 major spoilers. I mean - people, can't you hold your pics for a week before you submit them? it's just unfair towards the rest of us!
