Description
This is a request from My new pal, Shanejensen.Sweepy Smurf, Smurf Village's resident chimney sweep is lodged up top Greedy Smurf's kitchen chimney.
By the sound of Greedy's conversation with Papa Smurf, it seems he neither knows or cares that Sweepy is even up there.
All that climbing up and down, in and out of chimneys made me think that one day, he might get stuck in one of them.
Sorry Shanejensen if I didn't meet your expectations.

I really love your cartoony style! Very fitting for the Smurfs. I like how Sweepy is all "Oh shi-" or "Oh Smurf!"

Finally, another Sweepy fan. Not too many people know about Sweepy since he only appeared in one episode which I think is a shame. I instantly fell in love with Sweepy the moment I first saw the episode, just such an interesting character that I think deserved more appearances. I kind of felt bad for Sweepy the way the other Smurfs treated him, I think it was the sympathy I had for him that made me feel for the character the way I did and made him an instant favorite.
So what was it for you that made Sweepy your favorite?

It's hard to say, really. I was pretty young when I took a liking to him, so I don't really have a reason.

I was eight years old when I saw the episode for the first time. It was October of 1986 and the first airing of the episode. I don't know, I just felt inspired by the episode for some reason. It remains one of my all time favorite Smurf episodes to this day, I even have it in my iPod. I have the episode on YouTube also if you haven't seen it in a while. [link]

I'm from the east cost and I am in fact a night owl, but I don't usually stay up that late. I fell asleep in my chair and decided to check my messages before going to bed.
Yes, I do like it. To be honest it wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I still like it. Sweepy was such a minor character that most people probably don't even know of unless they saw the ONE episode he was in. I'll take whatever new pictures of the character I can get. After 20 years it's nice to see the character in something new.
