I really like how the art's similar to the official art of the show. It makes for a nice touch.

Although i'm not much one for RWBY Yuri Ships I have to say that BumbleBee is my preferred coupling, but this is also good too of course. ^^

I think if they did do "checkmating" it would shock everyone because they were expecting bumblebee and it would make sense a little better.

I find "checkmate" to be a bit of an unlikely pairing, due to the aforementioned prejudice that the SDC has set against Faunus after all, but I agree that said prejudice can be dispersed over time, allowing for this coupling to happen.ย ย But again, Bumblebee seems a bit more likely.

Unlikely. But if they did do it, no one would expect it as much as bumblebee. I almost think bumblebee would be to easy tho and it would have no real effect. Idk XD

Yeah. Blake would care about Yang more because of what happened and many other reasons. Im just sayin it would shock a lot of people if bumblebee never became a thing. We'll find out eventually tho lol.

Bumblebee is ok I guess, but I kind of see it as ship that the only reason it became is one because they were partnered up. Monochrome/checkmating however to me has a bit background because of the "Ex White Fang faunus girl meets rich girl who hates White Fang then became close" thing.
Though I have to admit, I did started shipping them when I saw Weiss symbol in the train in the black trailer. ^^
