Wow... This should have been used in the role as Marvin in the movie "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy"... Looks a lot more like I imagined Marvin when I read the book than that silly "Fat Robot made by Sony", they ended up with

It took me about eight months. It's app. 2 meters high, weights 200kg and is made of parts of various machines and the coating is copper.

Brilliant. Did you have to shape any of the parts yourself--I'm thinking specifically of the backs of the hands, it seems to be a pretty unusual shape.

i love every detail of this, the way different parts of hardware were used to create such an amazingly looking statue
it looks as if it would walk in a second, and start talking back
