Description
Hi Guys, to start my Cosplay plan this 2014, I give you Godot's Visor Tutorial! This Tuts is all about starting things small and grow from there. I have also inserted some of my thoughts about cosplay (like a blog) into the tutorial. I think I'll be doing more of this style in my future tutorials. Hope you guys enjoy this. Awesome Visor! I was wondering if you primed the foam before painting and if you did, what did you use?

Priming very important. I use 3 to 5 coats of emulsion to ready the foam for paint

I think you are by far the best Godot cosplayer I've seen yet! Β Your visor turned out great! And I would give anything to know where to get a vest like that

The cloth for the vest was hand-picked by me

Cloth, so you had to find the material and make it yourself. Β I've been finding a lot of cosplayers for Godot have to do that. Β It's a very nice vest design, so I'm surprised some brand hasn't just made this vest by now, in various colors even. Β It would make it a lot easier. lol And they're missing out on sales for people that appreciate the design. Β I wouldn't know where to begin to look for material, and I'd need a lot of learning to how to make it on my own if i tried. Β I found one vest online I ordered where I guess if you were very generous and had an open mind, one could say it very loosely looks kinda like his vest
Yours looks 100x closer and better than mine, so I'm jealous hehe

Hehe, I just search high and low for the right cloth. You have better control if you search the cloth yourself and learn to sew for cosplay

Kuya Joe,
Your work is very inspiring. I love your take on this visor, and I'm glad to know that you play AA as well. I know few Pinoys who do. :3 Please keep it up~!

Aww, your so sweet. Thank You!Β Β
I Will sure do. I definitely play/watch the titles with the characters I'm cosplaying before doing the character. More appreciative that way
You too Saphhire, keep doing the things you love no matter it be raining or shining

I have thought about cosplaying Godot in the past, and now it seems a bit more manageable. Thank you for the tutorial!

I think the making process is very interesting ! You did a very good job there !
Too bad the final result lacks depth a little, but I know that's not easy to home make Godot's mask (I never found anyone who perfectly made it themselves so far ^^').

Yeah. Brought myself more tools and some mixtures that would greatly improve the quality of paint finish on props. Even simple ones would look x10 better (hopefully).
Thanks!
