This is really crappy. As in REALLY CRAPPY. But...I'll try typing this out if you still don't get it.

Beforehand: If you own a tie, measure it, and cut out the cloth like the image above...if you don't own a tie, then measure at least 2 feet, and if it's not the length you want, measure it to a size you do.

1. fold the cloth in half vertically to crease the fabric *The middle plays a big role in this!!*

2. fold the flaps in, and if you look at the back of a tie, you should get a diamond *like in the image above*

3. It should look like a tie now, so stitch it up!!

4. Try it out now...if it doesn't work, I'm really sorry. D: If it does work, congrats!

I made this for (she's got a new account again, sighsighsigh I have a bad memory I'll edit it into this later later)
Main purpose: For her cosplay of Hatsune Miku!

NOTE 10/30/11: Hey guys! So I've been hearing this tutorial has been helping people! Thanks so much! I'm thinking about cleaning this thing up a little bit (Redraw bits neater & convert to .PNG. I guess you could say make it look MUCH more decent and up-to-date.) so if you come check up on this later, don't panic! It'll still be the same, just not such an eyesore, hahaha.
I have not properly done a cosplay yet, because my life has always been overwhelmingly busy, so it makes my day when people tell me that this tutorial helped them out with theirs.
