Awsome! <3 This is really helpfull ^^
My onlu problem is: How do you get the ears to stand up like that? mine won't do that, no matter what >.<

Hmmm it probably depends on the fabric you use
The fabric in the tutorial was pretty stiff
You could try putting a pipe cleaner or some wire in the ears to make them stand up a little better?
Sometimes it depends on how you sew them to the hat, too (like if you curve them a little etc)

Walmart used to have a fabric section, but now it's either sheets at the thrift store, Fabricland or the downtown fashion district stores

chameleoncosplayteam In reply to waterlillys [2010-11-12 21:52:02 +0000 UTC]
Umm it depends on the costume, really xD
For a lot of these tutorials, I make it out of scrap fabric I have lying around my dorm room
What are you planning on making?

i just wondering because i like to make small caft like pokemon ear or small suff animal and it is a lot to go out to the store to go get the fabric. i live an 30 min drive to a store that has fabric just to get a little bit of fabric XD

chameleoncosplayteam In reply to waterlillys [2010-11-13 03:41:01 +0000 UTC]
Umm depending on the size of the ears or the stuffed animal, you might only need 1/2 to 1m
Although it also doesn't hurt to stock up xD
