Description
A close in shot of the detailing on the docking hub of the main shield on the Icarus. There are some details shown here not shown in the movie... they had left large deep holes (where you see my version of the locking mechanism) due to the fact they were never seen in the final movie. One would think there would be at least a modicum of detail in a deep dark 'spacey' hole on a huge ship like this... So there! You can also see in the central 'eruption' in the very center of the docking hub a tiny little circular indentation... not much bigger than a pin head in this shot, that is the airlock to enter into the Payload Section.
4+ million polygon's so far...
Cinema 4D
Stay tuned - a wide shot update is following this immediately

I need more RAM for my sytem. I am very detail oriented, and all of your stuff makes me evious that my comp can't handle that much. lol Absolutely fantastic as always.

Well if you are running 32 bit, unfortunately you are limited to a mere 32GB whereas you can have a LOT more on 64 bit systems. Partly due to addressing concerns. The key too is the video card - having a HIGH quality video card with sufficient RAM to handle the models/poly's. Sorry to all the ATI fan's out there, but all I will ever put in my systems I build anymore will ONLY be nVidia based. Ran into way too many instability problems with certain 3D programs while using ATI. Never again! I like to keep at least a minimum card RAM level of 2GB, but if you have the power capacity and board space, go for SLI if you can, I run twin nVidia 9800GT Sparkle Cards with 2GB's each through SLI.

Ouch, no offense, but that's a little dated, I had a GeForce GT 5250 back in 04 or 05, I think they originally came out in 03 - that's the card I had before a friend convinced me to try the ATI on a new build - which I will never do again lol! For instance - Vue will not support ATI, and will often crash even more than it normally... crashes >.> with an ATI.
If you are interested in quality video cards try out Sparkle (they generally run less than buying direct from nVidia - you can find them on Tiger Direct or NewEgg. They use nVidia Chipset's, and they are the cards that ran the Lightwave renders for BSG for Kelly Myers with the Galactica model being 7+ million polygons

hmmm... Whats this "initialise button do?"
Fantastic details coupled to the transporter part of the ship I'll bet this is not only awesome but a massive resources hog too.
