Flowey gave his own vine drawn thing to Luna when she was working, and it seems years later Flowey's own kids give him a thing while he had been working.

Something I imagine: Back when he was Asriel, he actually looked forward to someday having his own family. After dying and becoming a soulless flower that goal was forgotten about. So now that he actually has managed to get that for himself, this is why he tears up a little.

He's really turned his life around. From a lonely goat-child, to a happier goat child with a human friend, to a soulless flower child unable to feel or even comprehend compassion and love. Keeping himself in constant time-loops, killing things in boredom, curiosity and for fun. To gaining a soul again, and a new family, and then a job he feels accomplished in. And finally he gains a mate and group of children. Well Done, Flowey.
