Preleaf (Prehistoric + Leaf) the leaf stone Pokemon
Type: Grass
Ability: Leaf Guard/Sap Sipper
Revived from 5 Leaf Stones
Evolves via Leaf Stone
A team of scientists tasked by Professor Arolla to research the power within evolution stones found pieces of DNA embedded in each Leaf Stone. With complicated scientific processes they were able to reconstruct the complete DNA of an ancient Pokemon out of many Leaf stones.
As soon as they got the okay from Professor Arolla they started recreating this ancient Pokemon.
Not much is know about Preleaf at the moment. Scientists believe it is the ancestor of many grass Pokemon that live nowadays. Preleaf seems to like hanging around near ponds, where there's a lush vegetation, which seems to be its primary food source.
Scientist believe that Leafs of Preleafs who sunk into swamps got fossilised and became the now well known leaf stones.
