Gobonk the brawl Pokemon
(Goblin + clonk)
Type: Fairy/Fighting
Abilty: Goblin - Grants immunity to poison type attacks and can't be poisoned but makes it weak to sound based moves.
Does not evolve.
Due to the geography of the Ostrik region, with its many caves, tunnels and mountainy areas there seem to have developed a rather unconventional fairy type Pokemon in the Ostrik region. Gobonk is one of those creatures. They live in bigger tribes under the ground. As soon as they hatch it is clear what role they play in their society.
Gobonks are the fighters and protectors of the tribe. What they lack in smartness they make up with their strength. Despite appearing intimidating to outsiders, they are also very caring and sweet-tempered for the ones its close to.
Gobonk and other of its kind seem to have developed a resistance to poisons, which is unique among the fairy type Pokemon. Scientists believe this could be due to the partly toxic gases which are sometimes detected deep underground. Altough having lived most of their time underground Gobonks and other Pokemons of its species have also developed sensitive ears. Loud noises and clamour hurts them and therefore enrages them.
Professor Arolla, who is known for not liking or caring for these Pokemon, equipped her underground labs therefore with sound inducing barriers to shoo away Gobonks and the likes of his.
