In recent weeks, Ms. Belle has had a rough time and has become rather distant and depressed about her current condition. Dr. Grey is still trying to catch up with all the research and work he missed whilst on his suspension, and simply hasn't been allowed time to look into why his initial treatment for Belle has not worked. The several failed attempts to correct her seemingly random inflatable transformation have all failed, and the experiment with Ms. Sabitha really didn't help matters. Desperate to find a solution, Ms. Belle confided in one of her close friends, Ms. Alice, who had known Belle during her studies. We personally felt that spending some time with a friend could be a good thing for her, at least until Dr. Grey had time to resume his studies with her. Little did we know that Ms. Alice was not all she seemed. The mouse girl had her own curiosities and experiments to work out.

Apparently, Ms. Alice had come into possession of a rather curious item, and had voiced her interest to experiment with this item with Ms. Belle. The item in question was a rather large brass key. Ms. Alice inserted this key into Ms. Belle's back, and to her delight was greeted with immediate changes. Ms. Belle's body became rigid and smooth, developing seams and joints. Her skin paled as her body became firmer, resulting in a life sized Belle wind up doll. Apparently the changes weren't only physical, leaving Ms. Belle in an odd, content yet obedient state. The following day, Ms. Belle did not show up for her shift, and so a concerned Dr. Summers went looking for her. When she went to visit Ms. Alice, she found the wind up doll of Ms. Belle in a Maids uniform. Some rather harsh words were exchanged and Ms. Belle has since been brought back to the lab. We're hoping removing the key for a few hours will revert the change. In the meantime, Dr. Masters is trying to find out where the key came from what we can learn from it, and most importantly if it's safe. We can't have black market transformatives leaking out to the public. We'll hand the device over to the authorities once we conclude our studies.
