The void is a distant planar realm that is a writhing living mass of chaos and alien flesh and arcane energies swirling with the desire to infect all existence with itself. The foolish, desperate, and mad are most oft the devotees of void magic. It is a dangerous art that can warp and change it's user, and if properly harnessed, can visit horrifying transfigurations and destructive madness against one's foes.

The foolhardy or iron willed mage depicted here displays the void blades spell. Summoning two tentacle or blade like appendages comprised of concentrated void energy provide the mage with formidable melee weapons. Whether used to slash, pierce, or entangle a foe, one struck with a void blade attack must saves against temporary madness.

As a Sigantium spell, the mage has many options through his feats, and casting options, to alter or enhance the spell through using more spell energy than is needed, or having prepared spells in specific ways.
