I haven't even played Phoenix Wright, but this had to be done. If you don't know about it, it's a game where you play as a Lawyer...A Lawyer!
It's one of those strange concepts where it's so odd that it just works (apparently).
However not playing the game myself I've focused more upon the iconic finger-pointing featured through it.
Accusing people by pointing is quite a strong gesture I think, so it makes for a good picture. Of course it's a main part of the game being attorneys and such.
The main reason I did this though, has to be because of a series of parody animations called ' Phoenix Wrong'. They take the characters from Phoenix Wright and simply put sound clips on top and use them as actors. It's a simple idea, but keeps me amused.
Whilst making this image I felt a bit ill, so left it a few days. When I came back I didn't have the enthusiam unforuntately, so it seems quite simple because of it. I still like it though, and thought it's worth sharing (I hope!)

I can't believe you haven't played the game. It's so great! The stories are amazing, the characters are epic, and it's so cool! Please please please play it, I promise you'll love it!

I saw this picture, to which the exclamation "HELL YES!" came to mind, and I hastily put this into my faves. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! By the way, the games are AWESOME. You should play them! I put playing it off for so long because anything court-related always bored me, but Phoenix Wright is now my favorite series of all time.

When you play Phoenix Wright, you notice how the courtroom confrontations so closely resemble fights themselves - the screen reverberates with concussive force, flashes with steely glares, each point and counter-point is enunciated with a meaty slam of brusied flesh, lungs bawl and roar with a hurricane's intensity, and the witnesses and attorneys alike all recoil and convulse as though someone drove through their solar plexi.
It's an inspired design direction which injects vituperative vigour and sparking pazazz into the otherwise sedate dialogue-based progression. It occurs to me, though, why not take it further...? The court system in the games is demented enough as it is, so it isn't so much of a stretch to suppose that they could re-legitimise the judicial duel... otherwise known as trial by combat.

Again, thanks for another fantastic comment. Since I did this piece I have played a fair bit of Phoenix Wright and everything you said there is spot on. It still gets me how they managed to make something so formal, and typically seen as dull, to be so frantic and fun!

I've managed to get hold of the 2nd one for my DS, apparently it's not as great as the first, but it was a fantastic game still
