Here we have another request made by ninjakingofhearts, link: www.deviantart.com/ninjakingof… , where I was asked to draw another surrogate sibling scenario, lol. In this case though, the relationship is much more closely related in franchise source. For this drawing, we got two Sonic characters walking together hand-in-hand. Not just any characters though, but I think two of the most notorious characters to the Sonic fandom . That being of course Princess Elise III from the Sonic '06 video game and Christopher "Chris" Thorndyke from the Sonic X anime. Regardless of the mixed reception regarding these two characters, I agreed to draw them both together as I found the idea still very sweet in concept when you think about their individual stories. In a sense, they both experienced their own fair share of loneliness, with neither of them having had a sibling before. Princess Elise is practically an orphan and Chris's parents weren't usually around for him (not to say that they didn't love him though). So you could say that this interaction is meant to be comforting for them. Especially when it comes to talking about stuff that they've similarly experienced with a certain blue hedgehog . Not only that, but I bet it isn't everyday that you happen to find a royal as a potential surrogate sister . Apologies for anyone who might have trouble with their heights. I've used various screenshot references and height comparisons with other women from the anime, as well as with Sonic himself, in order to find the precise way to measure both Elise and Chris when having them side by side with one another. Hope it turned out well in the end.
