Another vector drawing i have done with Flash. I was feeling particularly happy while drawing this (that's a first ¬_¬
, so the scene turned out really nice (:I hope this one procures a feeling of hopefulness or happiness in you. It certainly did for me.
Please comment on my tree and the lens flare, especially. The tree was drawn with a new style, and this is the VERY first time i have ever done lens flares.

Theres too much blur on the clouds and on the hills at the very far. The lens flare is good, but the tree's texture totally makes the whole picture bad. The gradient is simply ... n00bish. And the lines on the trunk are rather weird.
The grass seems too ... equal? on most places. Grass is made of a lot of different colors and textures, and you knowing how to use photoshop im sure you can achieve that.
I know its old, just some friendly advice here. (:

i improved it already. the outlines are gone and it looks better in general.
i was more or less kind of screwing about with my art style at the time, trying to get a more earthy tone to it. my first foray didn't go too well, but it'll come with practice.

Wow! I really like this one. It certainly is a graphical improvment over all the other pieces you have on here. everything is nice, the shadowing, the lens flare, the colouring..except I'm not a fan of the black outlines on the tree, otherwise A++ work here.

When I look at this...I DO feel happy. This is awesome. And this new style for drawing the tree is very cool. But ya I can really catch the mood you were trying to give off. And I really like it.
The lens flare was...alright.
Im not saying it was bad, any lens flare that looks like that and was homemade is pretty damn good. It was doing good until it got to the tree. All I suggest before I start bitching is that lens flares have yellowish and orangish tints in them because of the sun. The white contrast in them was pulled off nicley though.

it's nice to know that the feeling which was intented was successfully evoked. wow, that was a mouthful. but anyway, this WAS, as i said, my first time drawing lens flares, so i'll definitely take what you said into mind when i am drawing something else with a lens flare. or improving this. whichever comes first.

I like it, the lens flare really works well with it..As for the tree, I think you maybe should stick with that style. Overall, nice job it does convey a feeling of happiness and whatnot. :3
