So, I though a Wind Waker Dark Link would be cool...It was born like this, I was looking at the art of the new MCR album and I thought this one flag looked sweet so I drew it and thought, "well golly gee, that looks like Link's hat!" (I'm a bit of a dork you see, and I think things look like Link at times) So I up and drew a head and some ears on the far end of the flag-turned hat. And thus the re-run type picture.

WOW this is nothing short of amazing. Its well balanced despite the lack of color. I like the letter box look but I think the top bar is larger, you might want to wait it down and make the bottom one larger. As if that matters after four thousand views. I have to ask, after six years of art school to get a masters in fine arts I have never heard of the "three elements of grey". Please fill me in, I would love to be a bit more educated.

that...well that's like. just some crap I made up really. grey has no "elements" I know of, it's just that nifty middle ground between white and black. lol. Yeah so that top bar looks larger but they're the exact same size. (I made one bar then pasted it for the second) it looks larger because link kind of blends into the bottom. I should have adjusted for that but I didn't. Reagardless though, thank you muchly for the comment!!!!

At first when I looked at the thumbnail I thought that Link received a hadshot (splatted blood) 
It would look better if it was coloured and with war-like background...

hrm, no there's a thought. Backgrounds are always so hard really, it's very hit and miss. I hardly ever know what I want to do with a background.

need to make a new zelda for gameboy or something with a art style like that.....over-exaggerated tattered clothing (i.e. hat, and/or boots and gloves.) So cool.....kind of like a sora-esque kingdom hearts feel to it.....but better

I've seen many fanarts of Dark Link, but honestly, this one's the first interpretation of him that has made me stop and stare. And maybe drool for a bit. x3
The idea of making him look like torn cloth swaying in the wind is utterly chilling, same with the way you took to placing him on the right edge of the pic whilst letting the hat whip about like that is.. delicious, how it makes the eye wander from left to right. @_@ And haunting. I always considered Dark Link bloody creepy, and this just adds to it. You rock.

InstaFave! This has got to be one of the best Fan Arts I have ever seen in my life! In fact, if I hadn't seen it here, I would think it was a conceptual design by Nintendo themselves! Great work! Dark Link looks very sinister and menacing. I would love to face a foe like this in the upcoming Zelda for Wii.
