Like it bleeds itself out for an hour O_o Heh-heh, that's why I always call it "the bloodening of the moon" Awesome pics

for some reason all my shots came out just a hair blurry, maybe improper focus? i couldnt figure out what i was doing wrong even after 30+ shots with varying different things. i was using a remote for the shutter and there was almost no wind, i dont get it other than i need more than a 70mm lens.
at least yours came out really well. did you leave the city at all to get these?

I was soooo lazy at that hour. I just went to my yard in West seattle. The blur might be from the moon movement, depending on your exposure speed setting?? It was moving pretty fast. I just picked up the cheap ($250) nikon 55-200 VR lens that worked nice for the moon.

Nicely done. I missed out. Too late for the east coast.

That's wondeful!
Must have been at daytime here...?
I was out last night for a few shots and the moon was full. I even think I overexposed my film shots because the light was so bright. But we'll see.

Thanks - I always overexpose moon shots myself - This time the moon had it's own filter to help me out. It happened in Seattle around 3:00am
