Heeey!! I know it's been super long, but I was so busy....T.TThis illustration is inspired by Fifa world cup 2018 in Russia ^^
I'm super hyped for tomorrows finale! What country are you cheering for? France or Croatia?? I'm cheering for Croatia!!!

First of all, very beautiful art piece! The overall look and first impression is great! Miku's expression is really awesome as well and I can clearly see how happy and victorious she is. The little flags at the top and those that she is holding are very adorable as well. I love the tiny details on the flags. I can see some gradient on them, although I think they might look better if there are some creases. Same goes for the shirt too, it could do with a few more creases. There's a lot of details on the hair, which is wonderful and look great, so it's a little bit funny if the rest of the picture (fabrics) is less detailed. Also, you might have forgotten the shadow that her football hair clips should cast on her hair.
The background is simple but effective, and I love the little touch of the light on the left side shining through her twintail. It helps her blend into the background well, sort of like a smooth transition. The color scheme is good as well - the skin color looks good and the teal is vibrant enough to make it feel like the character. The navy blue of the shirt is an appropriate choice which suits well with the rest of the drawing. Good job!
One thing I noticed though is that the shadow below her neck might be a little bit to dark and harsh. Comparing to the rest of the shadows, this shadow is extremely dark, which is strange because I can see a bit of light coming from behind her neck at where the shadow is. The area where her neck joins to her body is also a little strange. Bodies tend to pop outward from the neck because of the ribcage and the collar bone, but over here it looks like the same level. It's a bit hard to explain but you might want to get some references to understand what I mean.
It's a great job overall with very minor tweaks to be made, so keep it up!

I agree that adding creases to the flags would make the illustration more detailed and maybe more dynamic as well. The same goes for the fabric...drawing creases in fabric is something I haven't quite figured out yet

I see how the shadow under her chin doesn't quite work with this illustration, since the coloring is softer compared to the shadow under her chin...Thank you for pointing this out though, I'll try painting it lighter ^^. About the anatomy: I'm not quite sure what you mean (I think it's about the volume of the upper body, but I'm not sure

Yes I really love the colors you chose! I can never paint with such vibrant colors without it being an assault to my own eyes.
I think I should rephrase how I say it, sorry. I meant that the entire neck should be of a slightly darker shade compared to the chest area. This is because the head casts a shadow on the neck and some parts of the shoulder, but because the chest sticks out (even if they have little breasts, because of the ribcage), it would not be in this shadow. I know what you mean, when I first started drawing digitally my colors were way too vibrant and didn't really work together, but studying some color theory and watching a lot of tutorials has helped me pick out my palette. I still think coloring a piece digitally is quite difficult though because you have so many color choices o.o
Now I understand what you mean! (The reference helped) Thank you!!! This is actually something new to me, but it's a subtle difference that makes manga characters seem more natural. I'll definitely use this in my next illustration

That's really great! I'm not so good with vibrant colors, so I always end up sticking to pastel colors. At some point of time I became too used to it and it's hard to swap around hahah.

I am an American and I was rooting for Croatia too. Too bad they lost. But France is pretty good too (I actually have French blood). Too bad the USA wasn't in the world cup this year though.

As a French person, i cheered for France of course! The entire country was magical last night, everyone was dancing and cheering in the streets, everyone was friends. And i was really happy to see our players and the Croatians hugging and shaking hands at the end of the game. It's amazing how a simple sport can bring people together.
Maybe in 4 years it will Be Croatia in the first place!

I think it's pretty amazing how this sport not only unites different nations, but also brings together the people within the nations. Usually a lot of different people are meeting to watch the matches and cheer for their country in public events~
I hope so ^^ maybe Croatia can win UEFA Euro 2020, too!

I know... T.T I watched them play and I absolutely agree with what you're saying. They played fair and they played all of their matches well!
