H I S T O R Y

Beginnings

Michiko's life was that of a happy childhood being raised by her parents in a forest village near a large river. Going down the path of an average kamishiba living contently sounded extremely dull to her craving more and once coming of age in the ability to go to school... she convinced her parents to send her to Shibai. The main kami homestead was known for the best schools and large classes of all sorts of kamishiba, plus - she knew her parents wouldn't follow! With given praise they allowed her and the young dear was shipped off by herself to work as an upcoming kamishiba adult and go to school with new friends! Having adored chores with her mother Michiko decided the career path of a maid- making simple work cleaning houses, cooking, and what not. In her new freedom the girl eventually found herself... and though a wonderful, normal, upbringing the river living kami had a darker harder side. Finding the splendors of trickery and lavishly hawt bad boys the girl joined the dark army seeking the better the secret evil within. There in the new scene Michiko crafted new lethal skills while making more suitable darker friends -- this did not stop her from attending normal school however. With a personality to match in both worlds her dance on light and dark never seem to clash - falling in love with a normal lovely kamishiba Ryuu - while sparing and challenging a dark general Borath. Two lives lived at once finally filling the craving she had as a child.

Aluna, distant cousin. Not much is known about this girl but she has heard stories of the wondrous Sunset Seaside Princess.

Gloriana , distant cousin's daughter. Heard through the grape vine that her cousin had a child after getting married. Michiko plans to find and meet this child one day.

The Vagabond Guild , new clan. She doesn't know anyone personally yet but since she decided to stay with them after helping collect items Michiko guessed this is her new 'family'. Maybe in time she will actually form bonds with someone or all of them. Only time will tell!

Ryuusei , her heart. "Where ever you are, no matter how far distance parts us on our journey of self discovery - I will love you. No one captivates my heart and soul as you do my simple sweet boy. Should you fall in love with another on your travels, my care for you will not wither. I have chosen to be by your side on my own accord, to defend and protect until we leave this plan of existence. Maybe one day we will settle down but in our youth we are both just to wild and adventurous for that yet."

Pagan , Yukio's shadow. Michiko is not sure how to take the 'rebirth' of her former best friend who now stands before her as this monster. This beast wreaks of evil that she can not possess, and now believes she does not want too. Eerie is an understatement, as she finds Pagan actually terrifying to be alone with. Her old odd relationship of them fighting constantly has been put to an end now in fear to upset this iron demon. The pair still trade items and share stories over a warm camp fire -- Pagan even still brings Michiko dessert gifts as the old Yukio did.. however shes to scared to eat them believing she'll be poisoned.

Shun , Kpop Idol. Still the most beautiful kamishiba Michiko has ever seen, even in the years of her aging Michi has yet to come across another that impresses her so. Now that Shun has a noodle form Michiko finds SHE WANTS ONE TOO. The only tragic thing is her impression of Shun ( 'cold hearted cool girl' exterior ) has been destroyed thanks to witnessing the water queen with Toki on a rare occasion. Shun looked a bit soft allowing Toki to flirt with her like that -- has her idol fallen in love without knowing it?

Borath , favorite plaything. Over the years Michiko has named this kami her most favorite person in the entire world of Aurora land - that has not changed in the slightest. He is constantly annoyed by her nor can stand the carefree mischievous behavior she represents. 90% of the time they spend together this kamishiba gets mad at her one way or another but his anger does not sway her opinion about him. Basically a forced friendship on her part the girl is quite loyal and considers him a very good friend. She even likes his giant ass bird thing but does NOT enjoy riding it -- given he is on a mission somewhere in Aurora land he is still in her heart and misses him daily.

Killian , Captain: a safe place. Michiko has gone through a hard time at the collapse of the dark army and certain aspects of her life that changed over night. It was to much for the girl to bare, feeling a crisis coming upon her she found relief in the offers to be a crew mate on his ship. They are not family by blood but choice, he is a terrible and crew captain - but at the heart of it all cares, somewhat, about his crew. She likes Killian and respects him, but finds his advances to be terribly annoying. After spending many months on his ship the girl has decide to take a different path of action in life with her newly formed knowledge of a proper pirate. Thought she is not around him anymore she still considers Killian a great captain/friend.

Sly , The Quarter Master. He has become her new 'Yukio' of sorts. Only family for the reason of the ship she finds Sly to be ... enjoyable. They both are pretty terrible to each other but it works out. The trouble making, wild banter, womanizing together when on shore -- it can be fun. Perhaps they can open up a bit more to each other in time.

Toki , annoyance. Not actually a rival, Michiko just does not like the raccoon drunkard because she believes he is making her idol Shun soft. They have never spoken before and due to her opinion of him she will most likely try to avoid that like the plague. Despite his 'cool' looking exterior Michi just doesn't want to believe he is a good match for 'the general' --- sadly they are.. but she'll never admit that out loud to either of them. Unless she is drunk!

Tian , new plaything. Not actually a rival either, nor has she met this kamishiba before. BUT - she has heard his name quite a bit from her favorite plaything Borath. So much has been spew out about this kami that Michiko finds it actually to be a nuance. Has this mysterious one bitten Borath with some sorta always on mind bug? Apparently Kristobal has also met this kami too and given a stamp of approval - BARF. At this point Michi just wants Borath to marry this Tian he blabbers about in anger constantly so she can get some freaking wedding cake.
