H I S T O R Y

  It is known that kamishiba are not only born by natural means but by the means of wishes so strong they come true in the form of a Kamishiba figure. Eggs crafted of purpose and wishes, Hanini was indeed crafted from and for that. His egg appeared for the wish of a child, another kamishiba's strong will and hope she would have a baby of her own to take care off. After many brave feats to help a guardian get his treasure back he was gifted to the kamishiba, Aluna.

  His purpose was to be the best son, and that indeed he fulfilled filling her life with joy and happiness of being a mother. But of course, hanini had his own wishes as a child for what more could he do in his life than be the best son? From birth his mother applied him with the best life necessary at Sunset Seaside allowing him to explore the world and all it had to offered. Yet to his mothers surprise.. the boy took joy in fighting and weapons? It was abnormal to the peace loving kamishiba but nonetheless Aluna agreed to help her child fulfill his own dreams and wishes.

  To the Third Astrial Kamishiba Sagittarius, known as Epsilon the boy went to train under. Aluna saw it was the best outcome for the boy to grow up with a strong understanding of respect for weapons and his craft. The Astrial became held in high respect as a fighting instruction learning all that he could from the older far wise Kamishiba. Such a blessing so learn under someone so great his personality grew to be a sensible friendly young kami. His mastery in weapons was profound that it seemed strangely natural to him to be placed in the battle arena.

  Training became the boys main focus even more so upon meeting one of the darkest hearts he had ever witnessed, Yukio. Upon battling the older boy in defense of his mothers name Hanini obtained a reason to be come a master weapons keeper. For Yukio had declared himself Hanini's mortal enemy and that one day he would defeat to kill Hanini..and then go after his innocent mother! Such purpose drove the child to be at Esplions side even more hiding away the secret of what Yukio had threatened.

  Aluna was Hanini's most cherished kamishiba - never having the ability to picture the world without her. Even more to the thought of her being murdered just for dancing with a enchanted kamishiba by chance. As time raged on he learned the style of the Paladin Samurai whos weapons of choice was the great bow, swords, favored katana, pole-arm, sai, mace with the mastery of duel-wielding. Hanini stands for justice and light ensuring the corrupt being of the world stay at bay. With the need to protect the innocence his favorite pass time became to learn the arts of herbal healing.

  For as long as Hanini stands the boy takes care of all those who are in need. Attempting to act as the big brother to all -- a true retribution keeper.

Aluna , beloved keeper. The wish caller or better known as 'Mother'. Hanini puts this women before all others as a holy saint.

Kalino , father figure. Growing up more as a big brother Kalino slowly transformed into a father figure to the growing Kamishiba. High respect is held for this guy listening to every word and watching every movement.

Gloriana , lil sister. He babysits and watched out for the young kamishiba trying to teach her the ways of good.. however he already sees she has a tender heart.

Epsilon , fighting instructor. A high form of respect is held for his new 'master' that Aluna picked out to train him. The Kamishibia is extremely stern and noble making him an excellent role model for the growing boy.

gem , instructors daughter. A very happy girl that Hanini hangs out with on his down time from training. They can be found playing games or exploring the area under Hanini's own protection and knowledge. This girl is thought highly of giving that he grew up with her - she is the daughter to his fighting instructor Epsilon - he'd equally defend her with his life.

Kotetsu , childhood friend. Growing up on the beach has its limits of friends especially when you are constantly training to become a warrior. This lad here has been with Hanini through thick and thin when able, having many crazy adventures. The pair has discovered the need for one another's more mature natures by experimenting to see what plant life is able to help with ailments and what causes death. With Kotetsu the researcher and Hanini the curious all natural healer, these two sport the 'not tested on animals' logo proudly in their discoveries.... but at times testing on themselves!!!

Reiha ,blushing geisha . Hanini's drinking buddy! who he has nicknamed 'the blushing geisha' after a rather tropical alcoholic drink. Upon meeting her at an entertainers house singing, Hanini had became bewitched by the absolutely fun older lady. Reiha-sama is held is high regards and would do about anything for this beautiful lady should she ask - this is truly a kamishiba he can relax with and have a good time. In truth his drunken habits and fun with Reihi-sama are a secret from most except Kotetsu...it wouldn't be to fun if mother found out!

Storm , the night walker. An interesting kamishiba that Hanini ran across one stormy night on his way home from Reiha's tavern. No words were spent until their second meeting upon him realizing.. where the thunderstorm was.. she would follow. With both holding curiosity for the other, the reserved Hanini makes it a goal to find her in the rain or look for her once the sound of thunder makes its presence on the horizon. He is fond of this storm chasing night walker, finding her to be enchanting as she is mysterious.

Yukio , an absolute horrible kami that he can not tolerate. They had gotten into an actual physical fight at the Halloween party after Yukio commented on Hanini's mom being an Enchanted lover. The pair fight ferociously attempting to defeat the other in brutal war acts and embarrassment. They are sworn enemies vowed to defeat and kill the other one day and will do anything to get better than the other.
