H I S T O R Y
Tristan and Diana were never of royal blood or heritage, they were birthed from a small 'Rose' kamishiba village that lived close to the areas of central Shibai. They grew up as any child would with happy parents as hatchlings (Diana a year younger) yet with the misfortune of plague upon their village. A plague so strong it took out most of the village causing many residents to abandon the home with hopes to remain healthy. Tristan and Diana were no different as children not wishing the fall to the black death and so they and their parents left the group. On the travels seeking better land south along the Stardust Doom mountain both parents slowly started to take on the symptoms of illness. In despair each parent took their turn abandoning the young ones in order for them to survive as a form of self sacrifice.

Fear was never an option for the children who's parents had raised them to be strong and true, weaving tales of knights in shining armor - dragons in the deep - with goblins and trolls. With a mindset of hope they traveled on in the cold stumbling upon an old abandoned castle at the base of the deadly mountain. A true fairy tale home for the pair to finally rest and grow with no fear of plague finding them.

It was in the castle that Tristan taught Diana further how to read - from their exploring the castle books left behind from previous kings and queens long forgotten. The once dreary ruins bloomed with love and light with the pair growing in it year after year dreaming of their parents one day returning to them over the frosted hills cured. Even going so far as to set out fresh pairs of clothing accessories for them every Valentines day in the castle courtyard.

Overtime the children fashioned themselves into fine adults who's priories were completely different. Tristan leaves occasionally to adventure into the world with attempts to find long lost villagers of the 'Rose'. Diana stays in her home preferring the beautiful and deadly mountain view with her rose garden and books.

Diana , younger sister. Tristan's only surviving family member who he has taken care of since childhood. He loves this girl more than anything and protects his 'baby' sister with his life. Possible unworthy sutiors (all for that matter) end up getting fang and sword swung at them relentlessly.

Arian, desert wench. Also nicknamed 'mirage' for the fact when he met her he thought she was not real. Truly the one he spends mostly all his time with despite their apparent differences they work 'well' together. His acting before thinking worries and fascinates the girl causing her to stick around interested in seeing what troubles he will cause. Unspoken he very much enjoys her company and cares for the girl deeply- however challenges her warnings constantly attempting to look 'brave'. After years of being together Tristan has found himself secretly in love with the sand mummy, she however has believed him to be gay up to this point - not knowing how to break the news to her.... he's into her. oh no!

Noctis Noire , the sleepy prince. An odd but extremely fond of friend/brotheren who was born and raised in the same village. A true member to the cursed 'Rose Village' - Tristan believes this kamishiba to actually be the lost Blue Rose Prince of the village and possible future king. However he speaks nothing on it and enjoys watching him splendor in his new life style in the Thundra villages. On rare occasions (when NOONE is around) you can find Tristan napping with this kamishiba having a strong admiration for his fluffy chest fur.

M eka, the wild child. An extremely hyper kamishiba that Tristan had met who recently moved to the Thundra. Shes an enjoyer of games and partying the night away with vast groups of people -- all to which Tristan likes to watch the results of the night. Given her friendly behavious and ability to find fun in the dullest situations he at times finds her to be a bit childish and extremely impatient if she wants something to happen. "MAKE THE POPCORN POP FASTER" -- sorta thing.

Persephoneia , the black rose. Depicted as the utmost beautiful and royalty in appearance Tristan can't help but to feel slightly intimidated by this kamishiba. With her graceful ways and elegance he has come to slightly believe she was a member of the lost rose village but has yet to tell him anything on it. Their time spent is enjoyed chatting of the finest jewelry and only latest interesting events he sees her as a wonderful friend that he'd love to introduce to his sister,Diana , one day.
