Been working on this older project some more and made some good progress.All crits n comments welcome.
Modelled in Maya (render is a test, not the final look!)

Not bad at all. One thing I'd suggest though....the Wookiees are fond of integrating parts of their planet into their technology; specifically, Kashyyykian wood. This might be something that's restricted to texture mapping, but perhaps it should make it into parts of the mesh as well.

yes it has got wood, as my origional artist comments says, the render is just a test render and a basic shader.
I have the model broken down into the different material type
Among other parts, the hull, and the arms connecting the various pieces together are from that wood.
