It's the name of a song by Aphex Twin, which was the song that I was listening to and the song that had defined my mood while I was drawing this. The mood was generally that of a connection with abstract, undefined feeling rather than material, along with finding harmony within art.
Otherwise, I think the only thing that happened on April 14 was someone said a bad joke only to realize that they're 14 days late.

You must have learned that one on 'Joke of the Day!' Hahahaha. Aphex Twin is cool. But have you ever tried moved beyond all that electro? Do you like progressive house?

I listen to practically any genre except country -- that includes some blues, and a lot of underground rap.
Never heard of progressive house, but it sounds interesting.

It's not super-underground, but it's not gangstuh rap. Stuff like Blackalicious and MF Doom.
I don't believe in subgenres. I think they're a waste of time and a stereotype. There should only be a few genres: rock, rap, country, blues, jazz, et cetera.
Subgenres are creativity filters.

Well, do you know what Screw genre is? And how can you say that?!?! With a world as diverse as ours, are you really saying that there should be no subgenres? What would you call music like New Wave, Chillout, or even Reggae, for example. They're all subgenres. They color our musical spectrum; shame on you!

Well, subgenres can be alright, as in, what you described. It's when they get nitpicky and restricting that bothers me. For instance: "IDM: intelligent dance music". IDM pretty much says "all other dance music is unintelligent!"
Whereas, there are subgenres like downtempo, Reggae, which apply to a somewhat more specific but still vague area of music.
I just believe that every decent band is creative in their own way and shouldn't be compared to another small group of musicians as of the same "subgenre" -- because once that happens, they're just a "_____ band", and any originality is forgotten.
and no, I don't know what the Screw genre is.

You will totally like screw if you are into getting fucked up and listening to music. I even did a research study on subgenres (leaving no stone unturned) and one of the concentrations was Screw. It's this really fucked up genre of rap music played at a slower speed, and it's done through a DJ adjusting the pitch also to make the rapper's voice sound much deeper. It sounds like devil rap - you'd love it. Maybe this can help: [link]

Aha. I see you like industrial music, too.

Nurse With Wound, Throbbing Gristle, Einsturzende Neubauten, et cetera. The Swans aren't exactly "industrial", but they're really good too.
I wouldn't call Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, or Ministry industrial, as many believe. Skinny Puppy and Ministry have industrial characteristics, but It's more like industrial with pop-song structure influences...
That's not to say that I don't like those bands; I quite do, but I just believe it's a common misconception.

I'm not into the modern-era industrial sound, I like it from the '80s when it was just beginning and with that really cracked out 2/4 beat which was a staple for pretty much all industrial '80s tunes. There are still clubs in Miami that play that sort of shit, too. Very cool.
I like that you also source out a lot of German tunes: Germany has some really quality productions of music right now - it seems like everything I hear out of Germany is just on a whole other level. The music from there is so... mature. Wouldn't you say?

yeah, definitely. Modern industrial really isn't industrial. It was a lot more raw in the eighties.
Music from all European countries are more mature than the majority of America's music, if you ask me. (Of course, that's not universally true... but to put it in comparison: America has Fall Out Boy and Iceland has Sigur Ros. I'll let you decide which band is more advanced.)
