I had no idea how to react. I felt like I was sitting there for an eternity just staring. There was no way that Arctic, the fox Arctic I had seen drawn in pictures, was sitting right there looking at me. My mind couldn’t process and comprehend it. This was all a dream. It had to be.

“Don’t worry, Crash! It’s me, Arctic! I know this might be a lot to take in, but just listen to me,” said Arctic. He seemed to be aware of my confusion so his voice broke the silence there was. I had heard his voice already, but to now see his mouth move with a voice coming out made it all the more surreal. He sure was right when he said it was a lot to take in. I didn’t quite know what to say or what to do. I felt like I was just sitting there with my jaw dropped in awe and confusion. Somehow I managed to squeeze out a few words.

“... No way… A-Arctic?” I said.

“Yes, I’m Arctic, but not the human you know and wish to help,” quickly replied. He seemed to be trying to calm my racing mind down a bit and assure me that everything was okay.

“I heard you wanted to help him so I brought you here. You meant what you said, right?” he added.

“Of course! He’s helped me so much, and I’d do anything to do the same.” I had managed to calm down a bit, and was able to finally say a full sentence. What I said was true though, and I fully meant it. It was just so natural for me to say.

Arctic changed his expression. He seemed to be grinning more, but this time he had a sly appearance. I knew he was a fox so it was part of his nature, but I could just see it. He seemed like he wasn’t telling me something. “I see. Anything, hmm? Well let me tell you something…” Arctic got up and started walking toward me. I tensed up a bit as he approached me, wondering what he was going to do.

He walked and stood right in front of me briefly. “You see,” he continued, “I have the ability to make people’s desires become a reality. If you really want to help change you and your friend’s lives, I can help.” Though he wasn’t facing me I felt like his eyes were on me. He kept walking and most of his body passed me. The closest part of him that was closest to me now was his tail. Up until now I hadn’t looked at his tail, but seeing it this close up I looked at it in awe. It looked like nothing I had ever seen before. I almost felt like I was in some sort of trance. It was so nice to look at, and the thought came to me that I should touch it. I had nearly forgotten that Arctic had just been speaking, but he looked back at me with that same sly smile he had.

He waved his tail closer to me almost as if I knew what I wanted to right at that moment. “The choice is yours~” he said with a small snicker.

More Arctic on this page! Looks like he's got some explaining to do. Also seems like he's got something in mind for me. This page took me a while trying to get Arctic looking as "right" as I could get him. Had a lot of mess ups here and there meaning lots of re-dos. Hope this one looks alright!
