just tried the 68k shmup again on my desktop pc, using xpadder. sadly it too has no function to make a button autofire.
i dont think its too healthy for gamepad or my carpal tunnels to button mash the hell out of this game..

I have't play that game for so long so I can remember what was its problem, I thought over these many years it would patched for turbo, but its not. I think that may be part of the intention of this game to button smash?? If you truly like shmup I recommend you get a meme emulator, it is unfortunate that the easiest to get shmup is touhou.
