I really the facial expressions here, the genius planing on both of the toughest and best characters, the design very true to each of the character. Above of all great. Hey maybe you should do a sequel one that involves Kenny and Rei (if you think of it, they're somewhat alike consider they die alot and are resurrected back to life).

Ahaha, that kinda works. Β¦D Somewhere, in Terminal Dogma there's a whole vat of Kenny's floating in LCL...

This is a realllllyy late response, but it'd be funnier to me if he was a SEELE guy saying that to Gendou and putting the rat bastard in his place ^_^

Nothing can stop the power of a crazed fanclub (of one)...Kaji-Cartman is in the shit now. It's his own fault for looking like Kaji.
That Asuka looks absolutely awesome...such clean, crisp art. What program were you using to create that? There's something about crisp CG that...well I don't know. It's like, I always feel bad about doing it myself (like it's a copout, i.e. no detailed shading, no flowing colours etc), but whenever I see somebody else's finished work using cel-shading it always looks stunningly clean and perfect! I should really start releasing my cel-shaded pics. I guess they can't be THAT bad...

If memory serves correctly, I made the whole thing on Macromedia Flash 5.0 ^^ It's a mixed blessing because on one hand, you can always do cool, last-minute adjustments ::Asuka's entire fringe is actually a "grouped" piece that I could freely nudge with my keyboard arrows until it looked okay; her arms are also grouped so I can rotate them to create a more dynamic posture in relation to Cartman's::
β¦but on the other hand you get TOO addicted to this nickpickery and then you never EVER get it done. @_@ I actually did this drawing on the eve of a huge final project in school. It was the STUPIDEST thing I'd ever done - at least until this last December when I decided to do that Outlaw Star/Tales of Symphonia pic on the eve of multiple final projects, not just one. XD;;;
Oh, you're absolutely right: there IS something to be said about crisp art. However, I wonder if the drawing program plays a part in this. Because, from the point-of-view of the computer, there is a WORLD of difference between vector line art and raster (i.e. drawn by hand and then scanned in) line art. I've practiced for years to make the cleanest lineart I can in real ink and yet the scanner nicks and bruises it every time. β¦_β¦
But yeah, vector just looks good and it's not that hard, so it's always an option. ;Γ I try to stay with real ink because it has that "humanistic touch" .........and, also, because my instructors think vector is a copout. ;ΓΎ
Bwah, I had a lot on my mind tonight. XD; I guess your comments were just very thought-provoking! *much appreciated!* And do share your cel-shaded work! ^___^ Unless you believe that it's too far below from your current level, then I understand~

Love the way you've used thicker lines towards the bottom of the picture to enhance the sense of perspective. Oh, and the look on Asuka's face I also love. Ha! Cartman may as well give up, he doesn't stand a chance...

It's very good! Cartman looks very freaked by Asuka..
I've seen the episode (as I reviewed it in my journal), and it was one of the better ones this season. I like it when they aren't trying too hard to do political events-based episodes, and just do equally satiric non-politic ones like this.
Great job with the artwork!

Between you and my cousin and your NEVER-ENDING pestering me of Eva... XD;;
You know, this REALLY shows how superior your Flash templates are to those stupid create-a-character thingies that everybody else uses. @_@ Maybe it's just been a while since seeing them, Cartman looks NEAR-IDENTICAL to the show now. XD I find that very, very amazing.

Daaah. I've pestered j00 all of ONCE this year about that. Maybe I should crank it up during winter vacation? XD
*twitch* I guess if they're happy with create-a-character and brings joy and bliss into their lives, it's not for me to criticize....... Thanks for noticing. XD I had good fun pausing on that part. Guh, I'd be willing to try rendering the Fab-Four!Scamps if I wasn't so sure it'd just fuel a very scary fandom that's on the riseβ¦
β¦so until then, you can all marvel at my fucked-up, overly-obscure, crossover weirdness instead. XD XD

β¦it's Asuka from Evangelion. ^~; Bishmode!Cartman almost instantly reminded me of Kaji (it was the dress shirt with the rolled up sleeves I tells yaaa~) and I kinda wanted a reason to draw Asuka anyway with one of her many amusing crazy-go-nuts expressions. X3

Okay. I NEED NEW SOUTH PARK.. if only to understand this picture and its brilliance. ;_;
It plays with my emotions. I kind of want to congratulate Cartman, but his expression makes me want to pity him. XDD

That's the problem with working in Flash. I have too many fargin' interchangle facial expressions to work with!! XD XD I can think of a dozen other things I planned to add but just plain ol' forgot.
As all my art instructors say: "You never complete a project. You SURRENDER it."
I was originally going to go with the classic upside-down triangle grin (but it's been overused and the others felt neglected ^^) So I guess his expression is supposed to be realization followed by "oh kewl, this actually worked?"
Yee, hope the show downloadable sooooon~!
