Shadow Puppet is a fascinating example of symbiotic evolution. Shadow Puppet is both the diminutive bleary eyed creature, and the gaseous entity that lives inside its skull. Evolving separately, it is unknown how exactly these creatures looked prior to their convergence, or how they might have looked had they remained autonomous. During Shadow Puppet's waking hours, the gaseous creature remains dormant inside its host's skull, but during the brain's sleep cycle it is free to emerge and explore (so long as it stays near its host body). These gaseous creatures are inter-dimensional beings, possessing physics-defying powers. They often use these powers to fulfill their host's subconscious wishes, believing the actions to be beneficial to their hosts and thus themselves.
