Description      Fifty minutes later, and just as the tow truck was pulling out, Nick arrived.
Johnnie smiled his first real smile in hours.
      "Perfect timing."
"I'm just that good," Nick told him with a cocky but teasing grin as he pulled up and removed his dark sunglasses.  He glanced towards the departing tow truck as he put the kick stand down but didn't kill the bike yet.
"Anything else?"  He asked looking back to his friend.  Johnnie glanced about but it was a moot gesture.
"Nope," he told him with a little shrug.  "Just waiting on a call back from the insurance company."
Nick nodded and helped Johnnie put his things in the saddle bags.  He then unclipped the one helmet from the back of his bike and handed it to Johnnie.
Johnnie accepted it but looked apprehensive.  "How come I have to wear one but you don't?"
Nick grinned and winked.  "Nothing's gonna mess up this mug, but that pretty face of yours needs protecting'"
Johnnie rolled his eyes but didn't question further.  Helmet on, he slid on behind Nick.
     "So where we going?"
"Home.  I need to swing by the Police Department to get a copy of the report but that wont be until tomorrow or Thursday." He placed his hands tentatively on his shoulders and Nick glanced back.
"Put them on my waist," he explained.  "If things get too hairy just hang on."
Johnny nodded and put down the face cover of the helmet before doing as instructed.
Nick grinned to himself slipping back on his dark sunglasses and putting up the kick stand.  He then pulled cautiously out of the parking lot.

About twenty five minutes later they were pulling into Johnnie's designated parking spot in the parking garage of his apartment building.  Nick killed the engine on his motorcycle but made no attempt to get off. Johnnie rested his helmet on his shoulder not moving either.

During the ride over Nick had been tempted several times just to pull over.  He hadn't expected to be so distracted by his rider even though they both, mostly, kept their hands were they were supposed to be.   Nick's on the handle bars and, once he had relaxed, Johnnie's hands had moved to an interesting place on his thighs. At one point, however, he had anxiously grabbed at Nick's stomach when a semi had gotten too close for comfort.
No matter how much he was attracted to him, Nick held himself in check.  Johnnie had just lost his car and Nick was aware how rough that could be.  Plus he was trying to take things slow.  The last time he'd seen this man, he'd promised a slow seduction.  Forcefully taking him on the bike on the side of the rode wasn't slow, now matter how much he'd retrained himself last night.

Sitting in the parking spot, Nick let his hands drop from the handle bars down to his own thighs; he could feel small tentative twitches from the fingers resting on his mid torso.
One of his hands moved up to cover Johnnie's as the other reached over to rest on Johnnie's thigh.
"It's okay," Nick started to assure him but then, behind him, Johnnie tensed momentarily then moved forward, letting Nick feel all of him.  Nick wasn't the only one affected.  All thought's of taking their time went out the window as Nick groaned and turned his head with darker intent.
Unexpectedly there was a loudspeaker whoop-whoop sound. Both men jumped and Johnnie twisted around. He let out a big sigh of relief and climbed off the bike. The security guy was getting out of his vehicle but stopped as he saw it was Johnnie beneath the helmet.
"Oh. Sorry Mr. Walker. I didn't know it was you."
Johnnie grinned graciously. "No worries, Charlie. You're just doing your job."
Charles Tucker smiled back with a wave before getting back into his truck. He made note of the new vehicle then drove off.
Johnnie turned back to Nick with a shrug and an apologetic grin as he held out the helmet.  Nick chuckled tightly at the circumstances.  He put the helmet  away as Johnnie got his things before they both headed for the elevator.  They entered in silence, Johnnie leaning against the left wall and Nick standing in the middle of the elevator.  Johnnie grinned over at him.
"All you need to do is put your hands on your hips and a cape and you're instant superhero material."
     Nick winked over at him.
"That and my own theme song."
     Johnnie laughed.
"Oh I don't know.  I'm sure you could write your own."
Nick started to take a step closer to him but before he could respond the door binged and opened.  Nick moved to the opposite side of the elevator car, holding his tongue but not his roguish smile as Mrs. Schweitzer and her sister stepped on.

added a sentence to the middle:
