Whoa! so much details! although you did a mistake in french, because you forgot the "e" at the end of "brasserie", but anyway still look good and I'm quite surprised that a British man enjoy french stuff ^^

Thank you, this was a challenge set by worldasleep cos i mostly do country scenes so i did a city scene. It is Paris but nowhere in particular.

Thank you very much,,glad you like it.Iam spending the winter evenings preparing for the spring exhibition with the local art club,,that sounds really wild does it not?,but i prefer the summer and think that winter belongs on picture postcards. I was recovering from the excess of xmas and sat down with the sketchpad,just to doodle really and got a flash of inspiration from some photoes i had taken of some old motor cars,,,i like automobiles!!!and started a large piece of work. Its odd, other times i can just look at the paper and like, nothing. All it needs is that little spark.Did you get some nice things in your stocking? I got loads of arty stuff..oh and socks..Looking forward to a brand new year. I hope all your dreams come true in 2006, HAPPY NEW YEAR. David 521

Ta.. yeah very french and as you say very different, I enjoyed the challenge, Ive got so much stuff half started/finished but i ploughed on with this and suprised myself.Went to France two years ago on a driving holiday, Brittany area, beautiful place but i forgot the sketchbook...pillock!!!....Did not get to Paris, sort of ran out of time, had a boat to catch....
