After enduring what felt like an eternity in the torture cell, Tifa was finally brought back into a room to rest for the night. Her hands were shackled on the sides of the chair, her stockings and boots were put back on, and her ankles tied by rope, securing them to the chair.
In what must have been either an incredibly sloppy or deliberate gesture, the guard dropped the key of Tifa's shackles when exiting the room, mere inches away from Tifa's feet. Even though she highly suspects of the act of being intentional - most likely Scarlet taunting her with some other foul tricks, Tifa still decided to seize the opportunity to escape. She did her best struggling against the ankle bonds, managing to loosen up the rope and giving her enough room to wiggle her feet out of her boots. She carefully reached out to the key and was able to grab it with her toes. With a well calculated throw, Tifa caught the key with her teeth and proceeded to unlock her shackled hands.

I'm sure people who played the OG FF7 can immediately tell where I got the inspiration for this scene from...can't wait to experience it in the remake, so I just went ahead and made my own
