its not really the characters themselves, but the mood that's similar. they used to be heroes of every children but now they're old saggy and ridiculous :/ feels like your defeated heroes, they're pretty much defeated by old age..
still very funny though, they're cleverly created characters

I like your idea. It reminds me of the pseudo-super heroes of The Tick and other comics/cartoons. You really captured the "washed-up" aspect of the characters, and the color scheme goes along with that outdated/retro look.
My recommendation is to increase the variety of the heroes. They look mostly like the same middle-aged Bill Murray-esque character; maybe you could have an older Wonder-woman type, someone balding, a Woody Allen-type... really play with the array of super heroes out there.
Good job though, looks like a print.
