Like, basically instead of putting the egg in the brooding caverns maybe the Drone brings it back to them and Lyrenn finds it outside and is really confused like 'dAFUQ IS THIS WHY IS THIS HERE' so he brings it in to show Amouri and they just sorta take care of it because Lyrenn thinks it'll be something cool thEN A FEW DAYS LATER IT HATCHES WHEN AMOURI ISN'T AT LYRENN'S HIVE AND LYRENN FREAKS OUT since he doesn't know how to take care of a grub so he confines the grub to his room and is nervous and tries to take care of the grub until Amouri  comes back. tHEN THEY TALK ABOUT IT AND GHJEBTRJD CUTE STUFF CAN HAPPEN AND THEY CAN TAKE IT PLACES OR SOMETHING unless Amouri is overprotective of the grub. And Lyrenn would basically be the kinda parent that freaks out over small things or the grub's accomplishments. (Like, if the grub were to sneeze or squeak or sleep and look really cute he'd want Amouri to come look at it and he'd swoon over how cute the grub is. v u v )

bUT THEN I HAD A BAD IDEA THAT THEY'D TAKE THE GRUB TO THE PARK AND LYRENN WOULD HAVE IT IN HIS JACKET TO KEEP IT WARM BUT IT CAN STILL LOOK AROUND BUT AMOURI SEES THEM AND GOES OVER TO TALK BUT SEES THE GRUB AND IS LIKE 'excuse me what is this and why do you have it/ AND HE MAYBE TRIES TO HURT OR GET A BETTER LOOK AT THE GRUB AND LYRENN'S REALLY NERVOUS AND AFRAID SO HE TRIES TO GET AWAY OR HAVE AMOURI DO SOMETHING
