So, I suppose if I'm to continue as a member of this community I'm gonna need an OC. Here it is. I changed her design a little cause i felt like a change, hope y'all like her!

So this is my ponysona thing- she encompasses elements of my personality which have been exaggerated and made more energetic to seem more like a cartoon character.
(Yeah i know that it is spelled 'Spearmint' but 'Spearemint' is a pun of Shakespeare, get it?) The base of the showstyle-ish pony is from :iconslashharu: <(check them out)

Species: Unicorn

Cutie Mark: Spearemint's Cutie Mark is unusual in that it is a pair of speech marks that correspond to either side of her flank. Her Special talent is her high linguistic ability. Because of this she is great with words and her vocabulary is extensive.
She's also a bit of a grammar Nazi and gets this weird fulfillment from correcting everypony's speech.

Likes: Arguing, talking and making others laugh, making obscure references in order to feel superior, partaayyyyy
Dislikes: Physical activities, people who interrupt, eggplant, stupid people

Personality: Spearemint is the sarcastic type with a dry sense of humor. Spearemint loves to debate and is easily engrossed in discussions about controversial topics. So much so that, she often catches herself shouting when she gets particularly excited. Occasionally, Spearemint can become so intense in an argument, that she can actually upset the other pony, which she always apologizes for profusely.
Though she loves to sing, Spearemint is really bad at it and looks on enviously during the many musical numbers that randomly break out in Equestria.
Spearemint loves gossip and, as a kid, was usually the kid who had 'dirt' on just about everyone. Her teachers and friends used to joke that the more secrets she knew, the bigger and more 'poofy' her mane grew. This wasn't true, of course, but Spearemint liked the idea and took it on as part of her persona. It is also worth noting that she can be quite cunning and lies easily and seamlessly.

Equestria backstory: Spearmint lives in Canterlot and attended Celestia's School of Magic (in the year after twilight) and while she was there, she was able to develop a spell that allows her to memorize the texts of other languages in order to speak and understand them. However, this spell is only temporary and if she doesn't use a language regularly, she eventually forgets it. (Spearemint also found that this spell helped when cramming for exams #totallynotcheating )

After completing her studies at Celestia's School, Spearemint became the leading equestrian translator; travelling to far away Pony, Zebra and Griffon lands to build alliance with other nations. Spearemint uses her ability to learn and translate foreign languages and to write and speak on behalf of Celestia and Luna.
