Description
Finalized a design for a character I've had trouble settling on. This is Ayla Shamalu, an Oni-Blooded Tengu who was born into captivity as a slave to the Oni of the Fire Realm, later to be freed by Hanbei. She wears a blindfold to contain the Oni Blood Rage that triggers when she sees blood. She is the first student of Hanbei, wielding dual ring swords with her signature style "Mirage Dancer", an elusive style that mimics the whimsy and ferocity of the desert winds.Related content

They "unfold" into the size of full-sized wings, which she can then use to fly. I haven't drawn them yet for her or Kida because I haven't decided on a scale for the wings; they're HUGE. Of course, Ayla prefers to walk from place to place; flying isn't the safest form of travel when you're blind.
