Description
While the Tengu were granted feathered wings by the grace of the Wind God Fuujin, some tengu were not lucky enough to escape their Oni captors. Remaining as slaves in the Realm of Fire, these captive tengu were marked by their dark skin and darkened feathers, as their generations under the Oni have birthed what are called the Oni-Blooded. Ayla is one such Tengu, marked by the Oni whose vile blood corrupts her vision. Though condemned to misery, her chains were cut when the legendary human Ichizaku Hanbei crossed her path. He gave her a pair of blades to fight her from captivity. Now suddenly freed, she blindly walks a path given to her by a complete stranger, seeking his guidance once more in a world that did not want her.
