Description
A little 5"x7" watercolor painting for It's her OC Chiyo from her amazing fanfiction "Fakes & Friends!" The scanner messed it up a little, but all in all it's not too bad. I'm not into girly things so painting this was a challenge. I thought about those girls in Korean manhwa with the fancy fingernails, so I had planned to give that a try, but in the end I forgot.
I might try to add that in later. Anyway, enjoy.Materials: watercolor and acrylic paint

Thanks! I've always enjoyed drawing details, and I made it a 5x7 because it's just a bust-shot. Watercolor gets difficult if the picture is too small (like a full-body 5x7 would be very hard).

What can I say, my friend? I love the colors (they’re very Chiyo—she likes blues and oranges), I love her expression (mischievous, but still sweet), I love her posture (and her neat-nick nails show up so well), I love her frilly shirt strap (she’s totally wear that) and the way her hair looks with all that texture and the colors, you’re a beast with watercolor (I’m too afraid through even touch the stuff), and it’s all around an AWESOME-SAUCE PICTURE! Seriously. I love it. I can’t stop staring.

Aw, thank you! ^^ I feel like I messed up on the hands though. They look too stiff or something. I based her outfit off what you drew her in before; I added the lace-stuff simply because I like adding little effects with the white paint. The hair was difficult, but I haven't drawn a braid in a while so it was interesting to try again. And the eyes are always my favorite to draw, especially YYH style!
I've been in a Yu Yu Hakusho mood for a while now, so I wanted to draw something Yu Yu related, and this pic of Chiyo was the result. I recently got an idea for a YYH fanfiction to write; just need to work out some problem details, and thus far the beginning is a little choppy so I need to fix that too. But thank you so much for the nice compliments! I love your art too, especially those new chibis, and I can't wait to se more of them. ^^

Thanks a lot. Once I get the plot worked out a little more, I can let you know about some of the problems I'm having. (Right now it's just small stuff.) Though you don't owe me anything. I love your stories, and YYH is my favorite anime of all-time, so it's really inspiring.
