This is actually part of a series. The "volcanoes" are a sort of industrialized volcano, an earth machine, a factory the size of a mountain.

I really like the back story to this piece, and I am enjoying the style of your drawings. I think you are on to something really great with these pictures. It all feels so new but so ancient, so strange but yet there is a familiarity there as well, and even the orange color really pops and yet also harmonizes with the warm tones of the background so nicely. Amazing work.

Thank you Yeah, a volcano with a chimney I'd wanted to show a kind of industrialization of a volcano, a volcano as some sort of factory. I hope to revisit this landscape at some point
