This is old and cruddy and I haven't the slightest idea why it's the most favourited thing I've drawn as of March 2013. Go see the remake/sequel instead Β which took longer to make and isn't half as crap~Old Description:
Yes, I know the shading is all messed-up. I forgot to save the stupid .xcf file so there's no fixing it.
Also, I hate textures.
If you're wondering about that random rock in the foreground, it's because Cobalion is just standing between two rocks in the middle of a cave when you catch him. The second is somewhere in the background, but since I got lazy I'll just say that Cobalion is covering it.
Long story short my sister wanted me to draw a frustrated person and one of the Pokemon in the Musketeer Trio... nobody said I had to draw the person on the canvas. :V
Time Taken: about five hours. I don't know how people manage to make gigantic, awesome-looking comic pages in much less time....
I actually finished this yesterday but LIVESTREAM.

XD I caught Cobalion with a pokeball, Virison with a greatball, and Terricon with a ultra ball. Cobalion had timid nature and the other two were brave nature.

I remember when I caught cobalion, it took me one try. Use a master ball to get him

That's always an option, though I tend to save my Master Ball for the wandering Legendary, Tornadus/Thundurus (depends on the game) in this case. Unlike the trainer depicted offscreen in this picture, who apparently can't break the fourth wall, saving in front of a Legendary who won't run away is preferable to avoid wasting too many Poke/Great/Ultra/etc. Balls on it.

I captured Cobalion the first time whit a timer bal... it was one of the bigest WTF moments of the game togeter whit the time I captured Terrakion and Virizion whit a timer bal.

Not sure if you do this already, but a nice way to guarantee you don't use all of your Poke Balls on one Legendary is to save the game before battling. That way, if your team dies or you run out of Balls, just restart and you can try again without having to buy everything again~ :3

Yesterday on Black2, after restarting the fight after I accidentally KOed it with my Scizor, I managed to catch Cobalion with a Premier after failing with a Quick and countless Poke, Great, Ultra and Timers. I decided it was a Justified punishment.

HNNNG I know how that is Cobalion was beign a HUGE ass to me I literaly wasyed all 20+ pokebals, a few premiers, amm my greats and most of my ultras, a few timer balls and then I cantch the bastard in a heal ball

If you tried catching him at night, Dusk Balls work wonders. Heck, since you're in a cave, they should still work at least as well as a Great Ball regardless.

Oddly enough, I just went and got my DSi to see how I caught Cobalion... and it's a Timer Ball. XD Maybe the person was forgetful and didn't bring one...? or the artist got lazy and decided not to draw those weird little bumps
