Gardevoir just looks weird. It's got a broken Frisbee jabbed through its chest (it must have fun lying down), spiky things on the side of its (strangely-shaped) head, anorexic legs, a dress/cape (depends on gender and your own impression, though)... and yes, it would be bald without the green wig head-thingy. :I
