Hi everyone.Long time since I had post anything here. I had a comics to do before.
Sorry for not finishing the "Corkscrew" alt mode and transformation sheme. But I just made this quicky after seeing the first episode of Transformers Animated.
I imagined how Gobots would look like if they were revived into a cartoon now.
It was really fun to do. Maybe there will be more to come from the same bottle.
And for those who claim that this is not the Turbo from the 80's cartoon, here is a version with his horrible and ridiculous clown painted face. Happy ?
EDIT: For those that are too young or too old for that, here is the original machinerobo/gobots toy and the fairly freely adaptated Hanna Barbera version

Never noticed it before, but the toy version's head makes me think a little of Marvel UK's badass Blaster.

Wee Scooter was always my fave go-Bot toy, and cartoon G-Bot. But his face was never the same from scene to scene. Sometimes he looked like a fish-face (sorry, Scooter!)
I think one of his cousins is D-Nerd from Bots-Master...

I had the toy! It was always one of my favorites, being on almost exact scale with my hot wheels cars and fitting into the tracks.

With the low price tag, this is what makes Machinerobo toys so great. I had so much fun too messing them up with the regular hot-wheel or majorette cars. Much more playability.

This is awesome, I thought I recognized the style with the TF cartoon. I love this so much the classic Turbo with a kiddy Scooter X3.

One thing that puzzles me is why this show never re-aired on cartoon network. It is afterall, Hanna Barbara stuff isn't it?

As for the possibility to see it re-air somewhere, I think it's a lost hope. Hasbro destroyed all other transforming bots by buying them. The toys are still the property of BandaΓ―, but the names and the artwork from the cartoon used in occident are the property of hasbro that wants it to be forgot and burried deep a grave . They even re-use some gobots names for their toys to avoid any other utilisation. Sad thing....we won't ever see any dvd edition.

So that's the reason why they won't air again? Well.... That sucks hair that we don't normally see.

But mine was real quick. My site TFource.com is launching in a bit, and I'd like a gallery put up for robot dedicated artists. A few from devart and other places have obliged. Not many, but it's all in fun. I just want others to visit the page and see some strong work. A profile will be clipped to the thumbnail page, so you can tell them anything, even how much you are unaffiliated with me....LOL.
That's it though. So far the requests are 1/10, but that's a pretty good ratio. I may never even see the art from some of them, but I'm trying.
