And again, another adaptation of a "Gobots" character to the new "Transformers-Animated" canon. Today, it's Coptur 's turn. I tried here to match the "parrot" like face from the show but tried to make it not to suck.It 's still a WIP cause I can't decide whitch pair of arms to choose. Some are good for the alt mode and others for the bot mode.
About weapons, the first one can throw little rotor blades, second and third have the Axe-tail thing and all of them got the main rotor splitting in two sabers.
So now, help me to decide

I think I'll go with the A. Anyway, the more I look at it, the more the axe-single tail thing seems oversize to me.
I move this to the scraps section. The final version will come soon. Stay tuned

I know it's complete nonsense, but about splitting the rotor in a pair of dual blades?

Copter was one of my favorite Go-Bots. I like the one on the right as it seems closest to the original's design. Do you have a Fitor (or perhaps spelled Fytor -red jet) somewhere?

I kinda like the 3rd one. Its cleaner compared to the other two and is the one I most identify with the original. Nice work here =3

I like the second design. Keep the weapond from that design, but also use the weapon from the third

I like the first one. I think the hands look neat with the rotor blades there, and the two tailfin things on the altmode are unique.

A and C are definetely befitting the agile fighter. B gets a little out of character imho. Helicopter bots reek of finesse and guile, so I say slender blades at best, nothing too barbaric.

"A" This way he can still use his main rotor as his Primary Weapon like in the old show.
I'm not digging his mouth this is coptor we're talking about if your gonna give him a large underbite at least hook him up with a couple sharp teeth that's what made him truely scary.

#3 ftw, though if you did bot #1 it almost lends its self to being an osprey(half plane/half copter)

I like the left one, it looks like he can create strong winds for long range attack

the first one, he could pop out sharp propeller blades and use it like a one big bad buzzsaw

#2 The claw hands are part of his charm. Also the weapon is pretty sweet. You should have it open up with energy in between the panels, like Prime's axe does. Also, extending the handle would make it look even better.

I like the first design - but it makes me think of Thrust almost immediately with the arms. The second - I think the big 'axe' is a bit overwhelming and doesn't really work well with the 'claw' hands - which are typical from Coptur

Ah I almost forgot about his weapon, I personally say stay with teh choper blade sword. That's like his chief weapon, and its hard to see him with like an axe or a syth

My personal favorites are the first and second concepts. I love the traditional Coptur in the 3rd, but I feel he should have the 5 fingers like in the first design.
I especially love the first one, with the twin tails, but I think it would work as like a 'Gobotron' form, and the 3rd is the Earth form. Kind of like what they did with the Transformers War within series.
I've been working on concepts for Cy-Kill and Crasher forms as 'Gobotron' forms if you want to check them out.

Yeah Sure man, I'll upload them as soon as I can and show you. I've even got a sketch of what Crasher would look like as a human if you're interested. Mind you its nothing like the one I posted in my account. I'm trying to find that particular sketch in my pile.

I would have to say with the hands, I say go with the 3 fingers for him. I still have trouble viewing Coptur with those claw hands when he holds his blade.

Me neither. But as the TF-Animated canon is futuristic vehicules, I allowed myself some liberty about that.
