Description
With blue over whiteyou become a lunar eclipse in the night.
Beaming white halos
atop her head
as her hands softly
embrace you closer to her soul.
Inside of this heart
where you hold all the keys
to her closed off doors...
Crying the sweet tears
of surrender to your silence
of dark dreams and nightmares
you are still hers...
(c)Karen

i love the black backround, and the way the stem is included only a slight bit of green in the picture, very pretty

it looks like a living sculpture;
how do you manage nice black backdrops like that? It's something I've tried but failed at many times.

They are just natural lines on the petals.

This photo actually struck me as very sexual, that is, reminding me of the female genitals. It's very beautiful, and the poem is too. Very romantic, beautiful and it describes love well. The photo's very sensual, with soft lines in it and beautiful colours.

Wonderful form with great white/black contrast. Like the person above, love the use of negative space.

I really like the negative space you've got around the flower. It contrasts it really well.
It could be that I'm listening to Brigt Eyes at the moment but the photo is really sad.
Excellent shot.
BTW, did you use a flash for this or constant lighting?
