Description
This is a fabulous enhydro double terminated quartz specimen from the Hindu Kush mountain ranges. Not only are there enhydro water bubbles, there are large pockets of petroleum oil within the crystal. The petroleum glows bright blue under a blacklight.Related content

I heard there were a bunch of these this year at the Tuscon Gem Show, I found this one on Etsy.

Oooh, very similar to a Herkimer diamond -- those don't come with petroleum inclusions, though! Loveliness. :]
