Penny couldn't help but have mixed feelings about this day. Unfortunately, her mother had to go to work as she had a very important client that she had to speak to and with her father still deployed she wouldn't be able to see either of them for the majority of the day. But it did mean that her Aunt Lacey would be coming to babysit.

The young girl always enjoyed spending time with her aunt as they always had fun together. Normally a day out together would end with them getting ice cream. It was something that they both enjoyed thoroughly and would be something that she would always remember.

For the time being the pair found themselves inside of the main room of the house. Penny was reading a picture book while Lacey was reading the newspaper. There were several articles that she did take more of a few articles. One of them was financial as she was worried that it could involve her losing her job at a call centre.

One thing that Penny did notice was that it was a lovely day outside and that some of her toys were in the back garden. She was a little bored inside and quickly she stepped over to Lacey who was still sitting in the chair. It was too small for her too frame but she was able to sit there with some level of comfort.

"Aunt Lacey, can I go a play in the garden please," said Penny as she looked up to her aunt.

"Ok but be careful," replied Lacey. "I don't want you to get hurt." If it had been outside the front of the house, she would have said no. However, since it was in the back and there were fences on each side, she thought that she would be safe.

"Ok, I'll be careful."

Penny didn't hesitate in going outside to the back garden. It was rather basic with a large patch of grace and some flowers on the edges to add some colour to it. The toys that she played with were a little faded as they were left outside all of the time and thus rain and sun would be exposed to them on a regular basis. Even so she still played with them and even pretended that she was on an adventure.

Even though she was playing, Lacey made sure to keep her eye on her as she would check on her once every ten to fifteen minutes. She knew that it was mostly safe, but despite this, she knew that if Penny got hurt that her sister wouldn't be happy about it. But for now, everything was alright.

"Come Cowgirl Hannah!" stated Penny as she played with a doll in the garden. She had a smile on her face and she pretended that the doll was on a horse. She was running around the garden with the doll and was having fun but then she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. It was something that was small and pink. "Huh, what's that?"

With some curiosity the young girl stepped over to the object that was in the top corner of the garden. Her curiosity was getting the better of as she stepped closer and closer. As she did, she began to make out what it was, she could see a handle on it and a spout. This curiosity got to the point that she picked it up and took a better look at the object.

From what she could see, it was some kind of watering can that was pink in colour and had a flower shape attached to the sides of it. She looked at it with some curiosity for a few moments but she could also feel that it was somewhat heavier than she expected. This was when she realised that it was holding water. She had never seen the watering can before and she simply assumed that her mother had left it there.

"Yay a new watering can," stated Penny with some excitement. She then looked around and noticed a small daisy that was very close to where the watering can had been. For a few moments she looked at it and then an idea appeared in her mind. Without hesitation she poured some water onto the daisy. "There, there little flower. This'll make you grow big and strong."

Of course, Penny didn't expect anything to happen as she was just watering the flower. She poured the water for a few moments before stopping, she was about to move onto another one but then she began to see it shaking. Before she could figure out what it was doing the daisy began to grow.

The young girl couldn't help but watch as the daisy grew right before her eyes. Before she had watered it, the daisy had been quite small but now was roughly half of her height and growing taller with every passing moment. She couldn't help but take a step back and awe as the flower continued to grow.

The growth only lasted for a few seconds but by this time the daisy was as tall as Penny. Its stem was very long and thin and it looked as though it shouldn't have been able to support itself and yet it could. The flower on top was a little bigger than it had been before but not to the point that would have been expected for such a long stem.

Penny couldn't help but look at the daisy and then look at the watering can as she realised that this wasn't some ordinary. It had some kind of magical property to it but to be sure about it, she moved to another flower that was close by and poured some water onto it. Like the daisy before, the flower began to grow very tall very quickly. This time it was as tall as an average person once it had stopped growing. This was when Penny realised what she had in her hands.

For the next few minutes Penny went to several other flowers in the garden and began to pour water onto them. Each one of them grew much, much taller than they were supposed to be. On flower in particular that she poured water on was a sunflower. It was already a fairly tall flower but once she had poured the water onto it the sunflower grew so tall that it became taller than the house.

Penny couldn't believe that the watering can could actually make flowers grow. Many thoughts ran through her mind as she thought about what would happen if she poured some onto a cat or a dog. What would happen if she poured it onto one of her toys, would that become really big as well?

These questions were left unanswered when she suddenly heard Lacey call her for lunch. With that Penny made her way back inside of the house with the watering can still in her hands. It seemed that Lacey hadn't noticed the now giant flowers in the garden when she had called her. She was surprised to see Penny rush in so quickly.

"Wow you came in fast," said Lacey who had stepped back into the main room. "You must be really hungry; your lunch is in the kitchen for you."

"Aunt Lacey Aunt Lacey," replied Penny with excitement. "I found a watering can that makes flowers grow really big."

"You have, it must be a magic watering can." From Lacey's tone she didn't believe her young niece for a moment but was willing to play along as she thought that she was just playing make believe.

"It really is Aunt Lacey!" Without hesitation she poured some of the water onto Lacey's feet. This caught her completely by surprise as she couldn't help but get annoyed. She never liked telling Penny off but there were times when it needed to be done.

"Hey don't get water on the floor!" Her voice was somewhat raised as she spoke as if she was about to tell Penny off. "Why would you…"

Before Lacey could finish off what she was saying she felt a very strange sensation running through her body. It was unlike anything that she had felt before and as she looked at Penny it looked as though the young girl was moving further away from her. However, it wasn't her that was moving at all.

A stretching sound could be heard from her and this was when she realised that it wasn't Penny that was moving. It was Lacey whose point of view was rising with every passing moment. She realised that it was her that was growing taller. She couldn't explain what was happening as she could feel her body continuing to stretch taller.

However, it wasn't growing like she had seen in films as they grew in proportion. Instead she was growing taller like a naturally tall person. Her head remained its original size but the rest of her body continued to grow taller and longer.

Penny too looked up in amazement as she watched her aunt continue to grow taller before her eyes. The next thing they heard was a loud thud as her head struck the ceiling and they both expected her to stop growing by this point but this wasn't the case as she was having to bend down as she continued to grow.

The growing woman found herself being pushed down by the constraints of the room and she was forced to sit down. By now her body looked incredibly long and continuing to grow longer. Even sitting down her head was beginning to press against the ceiling.

"See Aunt Lacey," stated Penny as she looked up at her growing aunt. "I told you that it was magic."

"That's great," replied Lacey with some panic in her voice. "Now make it stop!"

No sooner had Lacey said this the growth spurt did stop. By then she had gone from an average height woman to being so tall that even sitting down, the ceiling was too low for her. She had no idea about what had happened but she could see her now very small looking niece looking up to her,

"Wow, you're really tall now," said Penny with a small amount of excitement in her voice. "The watering can made you grow."

"I can see that Penny," replied Lacey. Her tone sounded angry than panicked. "Now make me small again!"

"I-It can only make things bigger; I don't know how to make you shrink."

"Fix me now!"

The tone of Lacey's voice was very angry and it caused some panic in Penny. She stepped forward and didn't notice how big Lacey's feet had become. Because of this she tripped over the now giant feet and it caused her to fall forwards.

Not just that the watering can that had been in her hands also fell forwards. The water that had been inside of it spilled out and entirely landed on Lacey's now incredibly long legs. It only took a few moments for them to realise what had happened and almost instantly Lacey's body began to shake quickly as it prepared for the growth spurt that was about to take place.
