Time does fly when you are having fun. And this is one of Homura's way of having said fun. This one is not connected to the previous encounters with Parasyte (and Emelda). This one taking place maybe weeks if not months of Homura unofficially working as Parasyte's unofficial Right Hand Woman/2nd in Command. Once again, Parasyte is not amused as he is very sure that Homura is a good escapist, just that he is puzzled by the amount of time Homura is taking this time.

The book she is reading is "How to tie a woman up for Dummies" and the words on the pages say:
