Description I was totally dead today and I could't do anything in colour, so... Here's another b/w sketchy thingy.

It's based on very old pencil drawing I did after the first time I read Liveship Traders trilogy My version of captain Kennit.

I'm re-reading the middle trilogy right now, actually. Kennit's expression here is so true to his character it's almost scary .

Kennit!!! He totally rocks! He's kinda like a vampire- always the gentleman, good-looking, charming... and dangerous. He's such an interesting man. Very, very nice work again, my dear.

I found Kennit to be a really good character-he's probably one of the most interesting villains I've read

Yep. I had very mixed feelings about him while reading the series - one I liked him and once I hated his person I think it means that he's really greatly written, don't you think?

I'd say so. He's the type of character where you like the character, but you'd want nothing to do with the person. You like him sometimes and hate him others.

But Robin Hobb is just generally really good at creating characters

Which is what makes her books so fantastic...that and good writing and good plots...

It makes picking favourites rather difficult, though I am rather fond of the Fool/Amber/Lord Golden.
