Description
I was totally dead today and I could't do anything in colour, so... Here's another b/w sketchy thingy. It's based on very old pencil drawing I did after the first time I read Liveship Traders trilogy

Kennit:" Finally, the time has come for me to become the Pirate King!"
( :EHHHHH? What the-)
Kennit:" But to leave my past behind, I have to get rid of that blasted Peter P-ehh...I mean...Paragon...."
hehe, little joke.
I actually never thought of Kennit having facial hair before. I think it's pretty nice!

I can't imagine Kennit any other way since seeing this picture. He's my favourite character and you really captured him. Great job!

For some odd reason, whenever I read Liveship Traders, I picture Kennit as Cervantes. Like the drawing, by the way.

I LOVE Kennit, he's the ultimate character. I wouldn't even consider him a villain, he's just human. You've captured him beautifully. He has the same serious business face I imagined.

Thank you Yes, Kennit, is very complex character - sometimes one hates him, sometimes loves him, but one can't be indefferent ;]

Rysunek po prostu nieziemski! Świetny strój, no i to cieniowanie! *_* Bardzo podobnie sobie go wyobrażałam!

No właśnie z jednej strony go rozumiałam, wiadomo przez ojca i doświadczenia z przeszłości sam stał się z ofiary oprawcą.

A tu - siurpryza.

Hehm... Nieintencjonalnie!

awesome kennit! What an icey glare. Just color his eyes that hated soft blue and you've got him nailed on the head of those dark black curly locks. (was it just me or did nearly everyone in those books have black hair?) XD

Indeed, almost every Bingtown and Pirate Island citizen had black or very dark hair Probably because of their southern origin (note that Chalcedian and most of Six Duches people were blondes or brunets), I always imagined them as mediterranean and/or slightly latino -looking type

I hadn't really noticed that about the Six Duchies people. They seemed to me to be a good mix of several different sorts. But definitely the Chalcedians. I think the Mediterranean theory works for them though. ^_^

Well, in our world also can be seen, that most of the people's looks depends on the climate they are living in Then why the fantasy worlds should be different? :]

In that case, seeing as our environments play a role in what's available, I want a dragon. XD
Robin has 'em, why can't I? I live near a coast like the six dutchies. ^_^
(wouldn't that be awesome)

Yeah but if we don't have Taligia (or however you spell it) poisoning their minds about humans, we wouldn't have AS much a problem. Besides, there are a lot of stupid people running around that we could use to pacify one or two dragons... or serpents. XD We could be like the Elderings who understood the dragons better and the dragons gave more respect to.
Need a little fun and adventure every now and again. I mean come on, bear attack or dragon attack, which sounds more epic to you?
