Rather quick portrait of my current character for WH40K dark Heresy RPG, Sister Militant Flavia Nihilla of the Ebon Chalice Order.Two evenings, custom brushes, no refs used (except for the bolter).

Even better than your other Flavia. It's actually much rarer than it should be that you see a sister who looks not cute but dangerous, platinum blonde bob cut nonwithstanting.

This is absolutely beautiful dear I love how you captured the sister and even gave her a little personal touch with the nose piercing this is by far the best render of a sister of battle I have seen.

Is every Sister a blond and blue eyed white girl? I admit I've never paid much attention to them, but it seems like they all come out of the same mold. With some SM chapters, it makes sense, since they all come from a single planet, often one part of a single planet, but aren't sisters supposed to come from all over the Imperium?

No, not really. When I was creating this character, I was rolling a dice for her eye and hair colour (her original colour is brown) - so there's no rule. The fact is, that most of Sisters have their hair dyed (or bleached). In this case, it's in the memory of Sister Alicia Dominica, founder of the Order of the Ebon Chalice, whose hair became all white after she met the Emperor himself.
