Soooo... Here's something quick that came to me after one of Dark Heresy sessions.I made it look like old photo to hide the messy sketchy drawing ;]
Imperial Commissar Jastillus Quintus Nihillus and his little daughter, Flavia. Some 30 years before our recent campaign timeline.

Judging from the blood stains and the bloody fingerprint on the photo this is a picture Flavia keeps close to her at all times, also are photos still used in the 41st millenium?

Sure, why not? There's huge technical diversity on the imperial worlds - some of them are very cyberpunk-ish, some other more fantasy-like ;] So I assume photos aren't anything that unusual

Commissars tend to be orphans - but doesn't mean to say they can't have kids themselves.

well that's truth, I guess everyone is allowed to break the mold, its just I was under the impression all that imperial creed devotion didn't let em time for compassion nor family XD.

I really like this. The picture has great emotion and detail.
It's almost scary to think of a Commissar in this kind of light. You're so use to them fulfilling their role on the battlefield it's unnerving to see them as a caring parent.

Indeed. The father went to war and was killed there and the daughter was trained to be fanatically devoted living weapon of the Imperium (in short)
